Trip to Paris, TX

I took a trip to Paris, TX, and the location was beautiful. I've visited to stay at Olivia's ranch here plenty of times, but the weather made the scenery too perfect not to show off. Check this out...

This was one of two ranches owned by Olivia's family - and the only one that I've gotten a chance to visit. This was probably my 6th time going to her ranch? Over the years, the house went through some upgrades, horses passed away, and new grasses had grown. Although so much the same, the experience felt brand new.

The horses live in open pastures, so they often lose their domesticated ways if not ridden numerous times throughout the year. Since they were not as well practiced (and she and I have also experienced some scares upon riding), we decided to travel around via four-wheelers. There's no better thrill than driving openly on rough terrain that dips and thrashes you.

We first headed out to the Red River since her property covers the sandy banks. The past few times, we skinny dipped in the river and her hot tub, so I purposely didn't bring a swim suit. But she brought one. So she was clothed and I was naked. I want to say it was awkward, but it wasn't...

I'm afraid of horses. Well, after this trip, I don't think I fear these easy-to-scare, much-larger creatures. I posted the herd on my Instagram for you to view...and LIKE! After playing in the heat, I turned into their salt lick. I was so tasty that one decided to bite me; so, I declared him to be my horse. I like some tough love in friendships.

The next morning, we only had a few hours to take in the incredible views...and feel the extremely hot sun beat down on our faces. We filmed a Couples Yoga Challenge and rode our ATVs on open fields a bit more. On the way back home, I bought a malt shake from Braum's.
