In a world of high traffic and unforgiving algorithms, YouTubers endure a tough life making entertaining and marketable content. You want to go above and beyond to support them but fall short financially. How can you help make sure your favorite channels don't go away? Check out my guide of how to support YouTubers for FREE.
Engagement
All social media platforms (including YouTube) now reward users who have high engagement ratings. Always take the time to like AND comment on all of their uploaded content. Clicking that SHARE button could be the first domino of creating a viral video. If you can do all of this within the first 24 hours of the post going live, you deserve some tasty brownie points.
Video Advertisements
Advertisements play during videos, and if you're lucky, the interface will give you a SKIP AD button. Don't click on it! Watch the entire ad.
If the ad interests you, you should click on it. You do not need to be clicking on ads for the sake of clicking because the algorithm will become suspicious. Speaking of advertisements, I included some in this post (and on every page of my website.) Test what you have learned in this guide already by clicking on some --but not all-- links! Affiliate Links
Yes, those special custom links YouTubers get to track sales and hopefully reap a percentage of the benefits. But the way the algorithm is set up and the terms & conditions, YouTubers often don't make profit with their links even if they were the ones to introduce a brand, product, or service to a new customer. You can assure YouTubers make profit if you do it right.
Now, I know that this guide explains ways to support YouTubers with no cost to you. So, we're going to talk about the links that grant you profit even if you do not buy the product, such as Amazon. If you enter Amazon through an affiliation link and buy ANY item, even if it wasn't the advertised item, in that same session, the YouTuber will earn the sale. But only do this with big purchases and not every purchase so the algorithm doesn't get suspicious.
Tell Your Friends
People are always bored seeking new content to satisfy their entertainment needs (or fill up an hour time slot with nothingness.) Recommend your favorite channels to your friends. Send links to make it easy.
Now that you know how to support a YouTube channel, you should start with LesleyyX1 -- I heard she's pretty cool! Or go comment and share this blog post. No? Ok, well it was worth a try.
